as far as what counts as a different gun is a good question
after x amount im guessing you enter very slight variation territory however i will say their random generator spit out some pretty fun OP weapons in bl2

like what dylanthefurry said, yes this game was meant for more casual gaming, it isn't like CS:GO which has established rules/expectations. the votekicking thing is really common in versus so that'll prevent any sort of tournament from happening in the first place
