New Class Reworks

So is no one going to talk about the new class reworks?

Recently before the big patch I sat down and created a bunch of custom factions, since I only play with custom ones (Both for AI and me) and well I had to redo a bunch of them because of the changes to how the classes work now. (Anything that had Ritualist/Warlock/Mage)

Now this is not why I'm making this thread, it's just a minor inconvenience.

This is more like a PSA for people that have untouched custom factions or that are confused when they get ingame that the tooltips for the classes actually doesn't match the actual gameplay or skills, so let's talk about this shall we?

Mage ----> Elementalist:

So they made mage synergize with the elements now, being Lightning-Fire-Frost-Physical, they also recieved the ability to summon an elemental based on their element choice aswell as some nice AoE Spells for damage. (Elementalist is now simply just a pure DPS Caster in comparison to mage who could do abit of everything.)

They have single target damage, AoE damage, and a build potential for massive amounts of debuffs/damage over time effects (DoT's)

Ritualist ----> Naturalist/Druid/Shaman:

So they changed the class into a nature only type gig for the left tree, if you want anything else you have to go right tree for the support/healing aspect.

They removed almost everything that has to do with summons. (There is maybe 1-2 nodes for this)

So unless you're going for the Tome of Fertility that let's you Animate Flora, I would skip the entire left tree, there is just zero synergy for someone that isn't nature affinity based.

There are much better classes for dealing damage, but if you're sure on going nature, its a nice pick to have, Battlesaint I would say is a better hybrid support in almost every way, I just dont see a use for this class outside of nature. (But do please correct me if I'm wrong)

Warlock/Necromancer ------> Affliction Warlock (From World of Warcraft)

You now have a minor boost to undead (A small right tree) and a few free zombies that can explode on death if you so choose and affect everything with massive amounts of poison/decay/disease if you can get them all stuck in the enemies army somehow.

Other then that its a debuff/DoT Class now, afflicting debuffs and curses/hexes on people, in a very slow manner, its another "support" class that just doesn't have any good damage. (Curse being better, because you can make it into an AoE spell) hexes are just weird and not worth the action points.

Overall I dont know about these changes, now there aren't any dedicated summoning classes or support for it outside of minor increases or additions. (You're better off just using Tomes/Society traits instead to get more/better and cheaper summons)

And some of the support classes now have almost zero damage potential and very minor buffs, I dont see why you would pick any of them over something like a spellblade/ranger/warrior/death knight. (Elementalist being ok, since it actually has damage)

I'm still somewhat new to the game, but these are my opening thoughts on this, please feel free to criticise me and correct me if i'm wrong, I want to hear more opinions on this, I might just be looking through the wrong lense here)

Всем кто отыграл уже свыше 200ч ,хотелось бы узнать чего вам нехватает в хаге и в дд??
В хаге все идеально на мой взгляд, но там мало происходить движа добавить хотя бы нападения на базы нпс было бы прикольно.
Типа ты такой че то там фармишь херясь те приходит смс от сторожевой системы на вашу базу напали неизвестные мобы и ты все кидаешь и летие, чтоб отбить их ну и ценный лут(можно будет добавить охранные турели и их абгрейт типа расходники смазке и тд).

А дд надо что то вроде островов с замками которые будут охранять нпс стих островов будет просто не реально много титана и других редких минералов кто захватит этот пост, получит 48ч на добычу и защиту от нападений ,+ вовремя рейда на вас могут напасть и другие люди( ну как в л2 пока один клан пытается пробить осаду другие их просто вырезают и уже не осада а полный треш вопли крики маты) ...
Ну и после захвата базы у вас лбудет дроп который делится на всех кто участвовал..
На данный момент дд просто скучно 2ч игры в дд за неделю ето наверно потолок интереса.

In haga everything is perfect in my opinion, but there is little action there, it would be cool to add at least attacks on NPC bases. Like you are farming something there and ♥♥♥♥, then you get a text message from the guard system that unknown mobs have attacked your base and you throw everything and fly to fight them off, and valuable loot (it will be possible to add security turrets and their upgrades like consumables, lubrication, etc.).
And dd needs something like islands with castles that will be guarded by NPCs. The verse of the islands will simply be unrealistically high in titanium and other rare minerals. Whoever captures this post will get 48 hours to mine and protection from attacks.+During a raid, other people can attack you (well, like in L2, while one clan is trying to break through the siege, others simply cut them out and it’s no longer a siege but a complete trash, screams, shouts, swearing) ...
Well, after capturing the base, you will have a drop that is divided among everyone who participated..

At the moment, DD is just boring 2 hours of playing DD per week is probably the ceiling of interest.
