I've been working hard to get the desktop features working well as I think this is a good direction to go in to differentiate from other VR players and I find it much easier and useful to work on, as I don't have to keep putting on a headset. I also think there is a good amount of use for a player that plays full 360 and stereo on a desktop without the need of a headset.

Regarding the suggestion. The first one makes a lot of sense, just linking the swap eye to the whichever eye is shown on the desktop would work well and I'll look at adding that for the next beta. the other suggestion is a bit trickier as I feel I need to readdress this completely as there are options for moving the user and options for moving the screen. I don't think the users moving options are very good or well presented. You might want to give them a go though as it sounds closer to what you're suggesting. The option is under settings/playback/advanced.

Keep and eye out for the beta release, which I hope to upload in the near future.

Those are rumors. The source you link clearly says that.
EA definitely will make a ton of money with BF6. But I doubt that they can squeeze out a new BF every year. They never been capable of that and they sure are not now since they lost most of their >experienced< crew.

EA is also very different from Activision on how they pull of games. EA loves “games as a service”. So they will milk BF6 as long as it is throwing off enough money. It is much more likely that they expand on the BF6 offering instead of announcing BF7 with clean cuts to BF6.
Once they fall flat on their face with their new battle-royal tryhard mode they will hopefully finally realize that people that buy battlefield want battlefield and not something else.

Hey Asura! I actually have the game done besides the Postgame content, right now im mainly working on the QoL features I missed, aiming for a late October 2025 release. After that I'll be polishing the Android version more and release that a few months later

Yeah, this price with no demo is INSANE. Looks super interesting but no.
