Refunds, regret buying a game

About a day or two ago I bought Sleeping Dogs, but I regret my purchase, can I get a refund? No, I haven't played the game, I didn't even get as far as to downloading one bit of it in this computer.

If you buy a game for yourself, the licence is immediately activated upon purchase, no installation required. Because Steam sells licenses to play the game and not the game itself, and because there is no guaranteed way to ensure that you no longer have a copy of the game hidden somewhere on some storage device (i.e., there is no disk you can return for a refund), there is a no-refunds policy.

Refunds are only given if you can prove the game cannot run on your computer. If you want to avoid regrets in the future, I suggest you buy your games as gifts and keep them in your inventory, all gifts are tradable.

All sales on Steam are final. The SSA explicitly states that yoru right of refusal expires the second the games is available to download from Steam. The fact that you haven't downloaded it isn't technically relevant.

Steam has been known to do one time exceptions. But you should really ask yourself i you want to burn the one time refund on this, and even then under the assumption that it's probably unlikely.

I think Burton said somewhere that this is a myth.

Having said that, I would contact Support anyway. Worse case scenario, they remind you that "All trades are final" and don't give you the refund you asked for.

If you bought the pack and the issue is the DLC, there is a thread on how to remove most of the DLC (especialy the "cheat" DLC).

sleeping dogs is a great game IMO a lot better than couple of GTA
