The steam page of Dead Island 2 has been delete

Unfortunately I think the game will not be on steam but only EPIC GAME...

Does anyone wait this game here? I never play to Dead Island so I'm sad to not be able to test the new because all my game are on Steam.

I've played the first one on my 360 a long time ago. Wasn't impressed by it. Didn't even know another one was made. Won't be getting it.

Did a quick Google search and yeah, it's an Epic exclusive. Likely a timed one.

It will come to Steam eventually. Epic pays huge amounts of cash for exclusives, they just wait out the Time until they can release it elsewhere.

Just be patient and get it cheaper when it's on Steam in a few years.

That's one of those games that I don't even mind not having here.

I'm sure Epic's money helped cover some development costs and get it to a position of release. The game has been in development since 2014, been cancelled twice I think and had about 3 different developers working on it.

I quite liked the original but the developers of that went on to create Dying Light which became a far bigger hit and brand overall. Rejuvenating Dead Island especially under new developers and after a near-decade long mess wont be an easy job but it will certainly have a few fans whether coming from DL or just of the original.

Wont expect to see it on Steam anytime soon but it just depends on how 'exclusive' Epic made it.

I have nothing against EPIC GAME but I grew up with Steam, I knew steam at the beginning especially with Half life.

The only other platform that I find pleasant to use is rockstar game

Trying to force games to be on your platform exclusively is the exact opposite of having a choice.

Hopefully it all congests on the "definitive" edition or something.
The original game I actually quite liked. It's just a shame that it starts off with the most interesting map and then decelerates from there.

RThese exclusives aren;'t even for years anymore. Year tops is the norm. And yeah It'll be cheaper and all the bugs will be fixed and ironed out and there'll probably be bonus content.

It was a lot of fun with friends, not sure if I would have enjoyed it Solo.
Then came Dying Light which pretty much improved on everything Dead Island did, making it obsolete in a way.
