Disappearing TF2 Items
Apparently after a trade one of my items disappeared without a trace. Weird enough the other person received the item I traded to him and I received mine, but when I started tf2 to wear my item it said no connection to steam even though I ran the game through steam. So I restarted steam and booted up tf2 again I check my inventory and the item seems to have disappeared. I sorted my inventory still nothing. I checked my history and it says it still should be in my inventory. It showed in my inventory earlier before I started TF2 but afterwards nothing. I checked http://www.tf2items.com and still no trace of the item I traded for. I checked gift history, I checked my Spirit Of Giving from TF2 and the number did not go up. Nothing at all it just randomly vanished. The item I traded for was a Marksman's Mohair.I just want my item back. I also sent in a ticket with photo proof still no response yet though. :sadelf:

Has anyone else have a problem like this? I even tried opting in and out of steam beta nothing.

when did this happen? and did you already wait 2-3 weeks? because thats how long "itemsupport" takes
