Games to play in coop with a 4 year old kid ?

Hey

I am looking for games to play with my 4 years old kid.

His fingers are getting big enough to handle a 360 gamepad correctly

So I was wondering if there were games that fill this criteria :

a) can keep his attention (it can be short spanned at times)
b) can be played with 2 players on the same screen
c) can be played with a gamepad
d) no gore, sex or with little violence

He has been playing bit trip runner 2, it's not coop though, he likes it but finds it more fun to make the little guy crash than to actually play the game

Any suggestion ?

Papers Please, really? :claugh:

I'd recommend Race the Sun, Crazy Taxi, Superfrog HD, Poöf.

Those aren't co-op but yeah.

Why not something like LEGO: The Movie Video Game, LEGO: Batman, or any LEGO game. They are all Co-Op and they hold a 4 year olds attention extremely well. Also, Disney just realeased a ton of kids games onto the store like Disney Infinity, Cars, Planes, etc.. so i'm sure the little guy would love them.

I have some of the LEGO games and I love them even being 21.

I tried the Lego because coop is great and violence is okayish but it quickly get a little too complicated with little puzzle solving and then lose interest

If the puzzles behind the LEGO games is a little too complicated for him, try out some of the Disney games that are basically just mini-games for toddlers and children under 10. I have a little brother who loves Planes, Cars, Toy Story, Disney Infinity, etc..

My 5yo likes Gauntlet. It has a local co-op option with I think up to 4 players. One can use the mouse and keyboard and another the controller.

You can even play with both of you on one computer and another person on another computer. We watch a friends daughter from time to time, she and my wife play on her computer, me and our son on the other, but all four of us are in the game at the same time.
