Indian Regional Store?
Is there any hope that Valve will implement a regional store for it's Indian customers?

Paying for games in USD is pretty insane. We get regional prices on Origin, and most of the games which are released as Boxed copies too are pretty cheap (Shadow of Mordor was only ₹999/- = $16).

Considering there are like 1.25 billion people in India and a ton of PC gamers, regional pricing will really help!
People switch over to piracy because they down right can't afford such expensive games and also not everyone has a credit card.

Purchasing power in India is MUCH MCUH less than US/Europe or even Russia AFAIK, it's only logical that games SHOULD be cheaper. :tcry:

We already get cheaper games on retail / origin / physical uPlay games. If steam were to do something like increasing the price, they'd loose all thier Indian customers.

Piracy in India is a huge issue right now, people don't buy games digitally because when they try to surf the web online they see "The Witcher 3: $60" and just close the browser because it's available in retail for only $25 (with extra goodies).

considering gaming scenes, india is a small one. india has nearly no professional scene and that is one thing you can measure it with. china has similar economical aspects as your country but esport and other commercial profit with gaming are actually a thing there.

I thought Origin significantly increased the prices on the Origin store after everyone bought BF3 from the indian store for 1/4 of the price it was on their local store?
