Are there any stores that sell steam gift cards in india?

Not sure... You might have to check with your local gaming store... if not you might want to buy it from amazon... and ship it over to india :)

but that would probably take more money as shipping is not exactly free

From my experience, both Master Card and Visa cards issued by Indian banks work on Steam :)

My axis bank card didn't work yesterday... It's a visa
gamersgift.com sells them online. They'll email you the code in 20 minutes. Pretty legit

Yes GamersGift still is the best way/ surest way to get steam cides. But now steam has many more options that are working. You can eevn pay via paytm or mobikwik wallets directly in steam.
