No possibility of screwing you over if you ignore them.
And if support make a mistake, you can contact support to have it removed, there has been trigger happy support, and contacting support may gets someone in higher position, or other support to flag the case. That because mods are outsourced.
Also my advice with dealing with someone that using alts, you report them for using alt to bypass ban, and don't engage they just try to drag bad agurement to try get you into trouble as well, you win by not playing their game, and they get more mad if they keep getting ban using their alts.
no possibility to ignore them if they make a free account every 5 minutes to spam your thread, your reviews, and your account. And even after reporting multiple accounts of them, sending evidence to VALVE SUPPORT of what they are EXACTLY DOING, and the support does nothing to alleviate the situation except telling you to just private your account(which why the ♥♥♥♥ do I have to do that?) and ignore the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that keeps calling you ♥♥♥♥ on every thread you go.
Clearly false:

For context, the dude has this in his account description: 'I guard my virginity because it's the only thing I have'.
Edit: Also I should mention, I have been bugging support, both on the discussion forum and steam about this issue for 4 days now and they haven't done $hit.
Anyways it's possible may be ban by game mod, or trigger happy support. Also only place can take it up to is support by making a manual ticket, they may take 1 ~ 3 days to reply.
I did make a manual support ticket listing at least 8 accounts of theirs that they ADMITTEDLY used to openly perform targeted harassment. Also this is an example as I said, me replying to one of their messages when they are literally posting 10 messages referring to me and other members of the forum with some rather heinous ♥♥♥♥.
And if it will sate your curiosity the discussion in that thread pertained to the long shaft level in AC6 and I joked that it was an allegory for sex.
If someone makes a new account every 10 minutes to post ♥♥♥♥ in your profile you have to delete, and openly call you ♥♥♥♥ in the community you are around without you being able to do anything about it other than report and wait 2-5 hours for their comments to get deleted, and even then, they can use their multi-account power to false report your account for the stupidest ♥♥♥♥, are you going to still keep your cool and not engage with them? ♥♥♥♥ off, how about VALVE actually do its job and block access to new accounts from using the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ discussion forums or have the ability to post on profiles?
All Steam accounts are FREE including yours...
So again, why not simply stop engaging them? And utilising the privacy tools available to stop them from, for example, commenting on your profile?
False reporting doesn't work.
Limited accounts, which fresh new accounts are, already have loads of restrictions. Limiting them further by completely blocking them goes against what Valve wants, namely that everybody has the chance to participate.
dropping multiplayer parameter, it is over 10k games that are freely accessible.
that is a super easy question to answer: no.
Being able to PLAY a free game doesn't have to translate to taking part in its community, and even if it did, it shouldn't be a free pass to take part in -ANY- community especially ones for paid games. Can't you see how that's a recipe to have bot farms and harassment festering the forums?
And yet you play plenty of Free Games, so should we revoke your access to the forums as well??
How exactly are free accounts limited if they can literally do whatever they want? If you add an account on STEAMGUARD you can literally add friends, post on profiles and communities freely and completely bypass the 5$ purchase which was supposed to be a SAFETY precaution to avoid the exact issue of people making a bunch of accounts to use bots or harass others. At the very least why when you have provided proof to steam support that an account participates in those activities don't they ban ALL accounts under that steamguard device and only ban the specific one that you reported? And why when I block one of those accounts aren't all accounts by that owner blocked?
Why are you playing devil's advocate here on such an obvious issue on steam's part?
