What happened to Mercenaries 2: World in Flames

I am trying to find and purchase Mercenaries 2: World in Flames but cant find it anywhere, does anyone know where it is? I have no cd drive on my gaming pc so I cant use disks, so I am looking for a digital download. It isnt on windows store and Im hoping its on here even though I have yet to find it. I wont download from illegal sites like steamunlocked because my friend who I am staying with thanks to hurracane ida is a cop who has already said if i pirate games im gone.

Don't think it was ever on Steam.

was never on Steam.
was on Origin (EA), although it is removed from their store.
you may find origin keys, maybe.
retail copies may activate on origin, maybe.

True not sure if buying the disc would have a key to redeem on store. That is a question for EA.

EA killed it. Like they do it for most of their games. They have a huge backlog and they refuse to allow others to play them.

Umm my laptop doesn't have a disk drive its a digital only laptop, lol.

External USB dvd/blu-ray drives exist, and tbh at this point I'd probably rather have one of those than an internal. Can just plug it in when you need.

I have a copy from origin that moved to EA, it works on one PC, but I got a new PC which runs windows 11 now, but says the game cannot launch due to "The licence limit for this product has been reached"
