Best games for my 4 year old son.

What would be best games for a four year old (4.5) boy?
Best would be educational, probably hardly any good ones.
Maybe strategy, or adventure.

Rayman Origins, Rayman Legends and Shovel Knight are the best choices I can think of. Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed might be a good choice too. He might struggle a bit, but you could help him out, it's a nice way to spend some time with him (I really liked when my father played with me). Generally 2-D games are the best to start with. There are some games meant for children too like Putt-Putt and some others that I forgot the name. Seriously, the games the guy above me mentioned are NOT acessible to a 4.5 years old

books for kids, reading together with mommy and daddy. i really see nothing on first glance that might be fully suitable for a pre-schooler. maybe some match3 games or something like peggle might be manageable.

if you are korean, of course, starcraft 2v1 handicap 50, he has to learn that micro early.

As for games, are you willing to play with him in co-op? I'd suggest one of the Lego games, I used to play them with my nephew when he was 4 or 5. We also played kart racing games in co-op, that was on console tho, don't know if there are any on Steam.

You should have a look at games for smartphones, there is much more children educational games there. Also flash Disney games could be quite entertaning for pre-schooler.. Have a look at strategies and logical games, and all Nintendo products.
