Thanksgiving Sale

Is this weeklong deal of 40 games the Thanksgiving sale? It says the thanksgiving sale is supposed to be from the 23-27, so I'm wondering either is that the wrong date or is the Thanksgiving sale just really bad?

Update: I'm don't know why people are saying I'm being greedy. When I said "just really bad" I meant a Black Friday/Thanksgiving sale would usually have more than 48 games on sale, but then it was cleared up that it was just a small midweek sale due to the big sale coming up. Plus, if the games I want don't go on sale for enough I won't say it's the "worst sale ever", besides I only have $20 left on my account.

no that are the standard weeklong deals that start money. that is and was every week for the past years. special sales include a small redesign of the store and not just a blue-ish box.

where does it say that "thanksgiving sale is supposed to be from the 23-27"? can't be anywhere legit.

Well steam didn't announce it, but it was on a website that has the sale dates and has been correct with the dates thus far. Thanks for clearing it up.

Less weeklong deals and the lack of a midweek sale (which will see about tomorrow) normally indicates that a big sale is coming. Not what you asked but I think it's a good tip.

usually its weaker than usual weekly deal then a real sale kicks in

Us Americans call the sale Thanksgiving sale or even Black Friday steam sale. Doesn't matter because Steam is international.
