Just dont be shy, try your best. what are you interesed in or what games do you like? You aren't alone, there is many people trying to find some friend out here. You can see there is many posts about it so go contact them. Im sure you will find good people if you try your best, good luck!
Ive met a couple nice people during my Payday 2 times.
Think about your problem there. That you are aware of online games, but you are also aware that some groups can be toxic. So how to fix?
Simple - and it's mostly twofold.
First off choose free to play games that aren't so "younger" (more in metnal age and attitude than actual age). Simply scroll through the most popular free to play games on here.
You could start with something like Warframe. A really excellent and generous free to play game where you're more likely to meet a more mature audience.
Play games like that and your chances improve.
But there's another issue that often gets overlooked and you can even dfo this for Fortnite. TIME OF DAY YOU PLAY.
I play Fornite (though only the Save the World mode). I typically ignore any time between about 4pm to 10pm in my locale, simply because that's when the younger and more itinerant people are on. After 10pm is really great (and you will find that for almost every game). But if you're not able to do that, then you can try to find other times to play too. You'll need to experiment a bit.
Best of luck.
Not so played as the second but still VERY well played even today. Saw some stats the other day and it floored me how much it's still played, especailly as the old content was injected into 2.
Yep. I personally like more the OG characters also.
Battlefield series is good also.
Some come and go and cant even finish a game. Some cant even hold a clear conversation.
I have learned these people are usually the same that do not have morality or character, those you do not want to know anyway.
Those who are able to sit and play a whole game, and able to play with an actual strategic edge are people who are capable of being friends and usually have a better morality and character.
Like I am playing Tropico right now. Anyone who can sit through a whole game with another person is a rare thing, and those people will likely be there to join you in whatever other games you are playing instead of just ignoring another person on the friends list.
The two suggestions before this are first person shooters. In these games you will find people looking for groups that is trying to organize some kind of strategy that involves cooperation. These are the kinds of people that make good gaming friends since everyone else doesnt because they dont care.
