I could equally ask "what's better? Dinosaurs or cardboard?" without context or specifics, it's completely pointless and the responses you get will be equally useless.
So, let me add a few qualifiers.
If you like more a of a light-hearted fun co-op team based game, go for TF2.
If you want something a little more "realistic" and involved, go for CSGO.
If that's not what you're concerned with then please detail your points.

You're more likely to get this kind of crazy if you play CS:GO, than if you play TF2. At least, when you play casually, not competitively.
But whatever you do, don't be like that person. Don't take the game so seriously that you sound like you're about to explode.
