What does the recent policy update mean for CS GO?
So i can get banned if i login into for example skinbaron, cs money, skinbaron etc? Maybe also sites that give me a full overview of my game match info so i have to pay them 0.85 monthly for that? No thanks. They need to reverse this

Ask in the games own forum.

Use sites like that at one's own risk..

Can you quote the policy you are referring to?

I read the new Steam ToS, but none of it seems to affect any of the things you mention.

Engage in commercial activity
-Examples of such prohibited behavior include: posting advertisements; running contests; gambling; buying or selling Steam accounts; selling content, gift cards, or other items; and begging.

So why should people get banned for logging into a site that has gambling in it, for example skinclub?

Note that clause has been there since the beginnign anyway. People always seem to find things that they're 'shocked' about despite the fact that its literally the same thing as its always been

... They won't.

They will get banned for advertising the site, not for logging into it or using it... unless the site is shady and steals your account information to hijack it.

Yep. Honestly, nothing really changed except the wording. It is all the same, otherwise.

You don't.

As Satoru said this clause has been there for ages. It isn't new.

You will get banned for ENGAGING IN BEHAVIOUR that advertises such sites etc. So you flaunt it in game or bugger around doing it in game time then you will.

It has bugger all to do with what you do outside the game or even if youre' logged in.

I still don't understand what you mean about paying money to do something though.
