Not unauthorized, these apps interact with open APIs. Valve creates APIs for these tools to work, IE they actively encourage third parties to make tools that interact with Steam.
I'm glad that Valve do this, it leads to interesting and innovative software scenarios like the awesome Steam Library Filters: https://www.lorenzostanco.com/lab/steam/u/

I don't even know, did anyone check if the Steam app works on BlueStacks or any other android emulator? If emulators are not blocked there, that's also a way to do it. Else, we may need to start contacting the support because that's an issue they need to fix.

You could probably use WSL to use it on Windows, I never tried that personally.
The important parameters for the bot to setup being (from the configuration wiki[github.com]):
Note that it'll not automatically confirm pending trades you sent yourself. Maybe there's a parameter for it, personally i just type c to open the command prompt and type !2faok. This command accepts all pending 2FA confirmations.
Hope it helps. For now Valve doesn't allow any trades without the holding period if you don't own a ♥♥♥♥-phone. The last alternative being to use an android emulator like Bluestacks, but they may start to block it at some point too.
