If it showed peoples names it would only allow people to go around and take revenge on everyone who downvoted them by downvoting them back. Causing another problem.
I'm not trying to cause a fight just hold people accountable.
Because people would retaliate against them. They are entitled to their opinion and their opinion of others opinions.
Why should it be shown who downvoted?
"This issue would go away over night when fanbois get called out for their nefarious trolling."
And that is why it wouldn't happen.
What about people who downvote favorable reviews? Why are they not an issue? Why is it only those who downvote negitive reviews?
Showing who up/down voted would cause too many problems. Just leave them to their opinion and move on with life.
Because you want to call people out. That always leads to fighting and arguments.
How about we require your real name before posting a review. Wouldn't that cut down on negitive reviews and positive reviews of "bad" games?
Or would it cause people to harass you in real life?
I've seen your "review" of Shroud of the Avatar and read your incomprehensible "complaint" thread about it being flagged, you're definitely trying to cause a fight. People don't need to be "held accountable" for disagreeing with you.
I didn't say that it wasn't? I was stating my issue but forgive me for not thinking of all the reasons that the review system is skewd. /smh
I did give you the benefit of the doubt, until i looked at the reviews for that game and saw nothing but negative ones. If it's just because you made a negative review for that game, those 6 people must be very, very busy.
But it isn't skewed. Up or down vote of a review has no effect on the overall score. Asking that people who downvote a review to be revealed would cause a skew, but only for individual reviews.
The fighting and arguing it would cause would not be worth what could be gained.
Disagreeing with you and pointing out reasons why naming those who downvoted you =/= trolling, nor trying to start a fight.
You're stating that anyone downvoting you is a "fanboy" doing "nefarious trolling", you can't accept that people don't agree with you and/or don't like your "reviews". The very premise of the thread is you wanting to start a fight.
Where is the "victim"? You make an issue out of something irrelevant.
