Try looking at the chain of connectivity here - headphones, through cable, through port, into driver, onto processor and so on.
Try addressing one point at a time and you can find out where the issue lay.
Typically, for thing like headphones, I would first find out if it's the headphones themselves and plugging them into something else entirely will likely tell you the answer.
Once you've exhausted that, move onto the drivers and so on.
Also, try it on a number of games to see if it persisits. Might just be a CSGO thing, and you don't want to chase ghosts.
