Is SteamGifts a legit site?
I'm part of the Coupon Dumpster group which is either legit or the most well done hoax known to man, and I recently found out they do giveaways on a site called SteamGifts. I was wondering if this site is safe to use, I got the mobile authenticator so they can't use my account unless they steal my phone, but could I get into trouble for using the keys? I'd prefer it if someone with experience on the site answers.

So I won't lose my account or something like that? I think the people actually doing the giveaway are the coupon dumpster people so I trust them to not give me dodgy keys.

Of course not. As far as I know they only trade games bought on Steam (no keys involved). Worst thing that could happen is that the gift will get revoked.

Thanks mate, I appreciate the help.
I'm a member of Coupon Dumpster and one of the moderators is a friend of mine. The group is legit as is SteamGifts. I did giveaways there myself. You can do public giveaways or open for members of a Steam group only.

I know the groups legit (I've donated and received several coupons there) but I was more worried about the owners of SteamGifts. But I'm glad to hear it's safe.

i used it too much ;)

the login via steam is always safe, if you check url address bar. for more safety i would just login to the official steam website first, because when you then logon to a 3rd party website with steam oauth, it will just display your account and a sign-in button, instead of username/password input fields. with that little method you can not get phished.

Ok, thanks for the info on 3rd party sites.
Steamgifts.com is legit.

Steamgifts.co is NOT legit.

It's a great site. I've won a few dozen games on it. Most of the games being given away there were actually bundled games that the buyers didn't want to keep. As you give away games there it levels you up on the site. When you're higher level there are drawings that are only for certain levels or higher. I'm level 3, there's usually fewer entries in level 2 and 3 drawings. It only takes ONE game to get to level 1.

Thing to remember: Certain games can not be picked as the game you're giving away. When that happens, don't pick the game name closest to it. If a game (or Steam bundle) isn't listed on the site, it's because it has been given away for free at some point in time. You can get banned or suspended for giving away free games on the site. Particulars can be given away, Particula can't be. Because you log in through Steam and refresh, it knows which games you have and don't have. You can also have it just display games from your wishlist.
