Can't Refund due to EA Play
I got EA Play few months ago and I did play FIFA 21 for 17 hours. Today I saw FIFA 22 on discount, wanted to get it but purchased FIFA 21 mistakenly. When I noticed it, it was too late. Now I can't get refund for FIFA 21 because it says I did play it 17 hours. But I did not play it after "purchasing" it. Please provide me support and get me my refund for FIFA 21.

It's your fault for making the wrong purchase, you should have checked better. The refund system is not for Demoing games. You are out of luck - you should not have played the game before making the mistaken purchase.
The thing is that I did not play the game, did not even download at all after purchasing it.
Here's the thing.

YOu can ask.

There are two prongs to the refund system you agreed to.

The first is the automtic "no questions asked" one. In that you MUST have played less than 2 hours and bought within 14 days.

If you are outside that at all, then you dip into the DISCRETIONARY refund. In which you can plead your extenuating cirucmstances and at this point it is down to them to deicde. You are NOT automatically entitled to this, so if they say no that is final and the end of the matter.


For the future, take more care, as there are TONS of prompts and checks before you purchase so you really would have had to ignore loads of checks.

Refunds are only for purchases. So you can not revoke a refund before the purchase even happened.

yeah, the only way to get a refund after the time allotted is to use the manual. the other is automated and will just reject based on time played and time owned
