Games with tons of replayability
I been looking for games that have a ton or rather infinite replayability, though the latter may not be an option since "Games dont last forever" kind of speaks true. But I would love to hear what games and or genre's of games that can provide replayability and/or longevity. To mark some out here, I am not a big fan of high competitive games (Apex Legends, CSGO, Rainbow Six Siege, League of Legends, etc) but beyond that I am open to about anything. Thank you for the suggestions in advance!

Elder scrolls and fallout games can provide hundreds of hours with base game. Add mods and it could easily be thousands of hours

If you have people to play with and like open world survival craft i would recommend Ark and Conan Exiles. These games have provided me hundreds of hours each and you can play with pvp off as well
Kenshi is kinda fun to play around in.

And any RPG that allows modding really.

Also any of these "minecraft clones", survival/building sandboxes.

I suppose you could also endlessly fly around in no man sky or something. lol

It's amazing how much the devs have worked on this game since its release. I've never seen such a big turnaround as this game. When No Man's Sky came out people trashed it, now the game is loved by many and gets constant free updates. I can't say enough good things about this game and the devs, I recommend this as well! Kenshi is cool as well!

Dwarf Fortress
Minecraft
Tetris
Columns
Puyo Puyo
Gmod
A good Pinball Simulator like VPX (Darn Bally-Williams for pulling the licences from TPA and giving them to those FX incompetents).
MAME

All literally never get old, and will still be fun to play a century from now.

Games that have lots of Workshop mods are great for this. You end up trying tons of different combinations of different mods. Torchlight II is my favorite highly modded game. It's an older game, but there is even a new mod with so much new content it could be considered a full sequel to the game. It's called TL2-ACE, and it's still actively being added to.

If you like simulation games, Banished is another older game that has tons of mods.

The original Doom games. Seriously, the community made so much content for these games by now you might die of old age before you go through it all.

Sid Meier's Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword.
(This is sort of a complicated version of Risk.)

Stardew Valley...

Beat Hazard 2.

My time at Portia.
:teddy_talk: The first thing that comes to mind is multi-player.

As long as the servers are hosted by whomever, there's match after match.
For example I enjoy playing Dirt Rally, so far so good as there are always online daily, weekly, monthly stages/events. Also other peeps have clubs and online events.

Second thing, for singleplayer I'm more into exploring and leveling up, as I still do in Fallout 4.
I have Fallout 76 but I haven't really got into it, at least not yet.

It's quite complicated and takes a decent amount of time to learn but there are so many different ways to play that it provides nearly limitless replayablility. Especially if you just start with the base game and get the DLC over time. Though it's definitely not for everyone.

a few billion years at least

:teddy_talk: :D

As long as I can squeeze in a few million years of gameplay before the sun goes red giant 😎
