is there a way to get steam gems faster and cheaper

so last time i buy a lot of profile background about ARS$ 4.30 and then convert it into gems
and make it into booster pack something like that

Yes but they can be a false economy that's the point. If you can sell them cool.

But chairty bundles like Humble BUndles are gerat because of a few things.

One, they're cheap games. You get plenty for your cash.
But more than this, they are POPULAR. Which means when you earn your cards they are easier to find spares for as a lot of people earn them. THen from that your levels go up, and you get more chance of booster packs and so on.

If you want to level up badges, it is much quicker, and often cheaper or at least the price required is similar, to just buy the cards outright in the market... Remember, a booster pack does not guarantee you will get the cards you need to complete the sets - i.e. repeat cards - and you are limited to only 1 per day.

Booster packs should be reserved for attempts where the price of the cards in the market are expensive, and/or for sets with few cards - i.e. no 10+ card sets.

Are you sure it's 100 gems? Mine are 60 for Dead Space 1 and 80 for Dead Space 2. AFAIK, only free to play games and Steam sale items give 100 gems per background and emoticon.

Edit: Also it's almost always cheaper to just buy booster packs from the market, than it is to use the booster pack creator.

Sack of Gems currently costs 0,39€ and contains 1000 gems so 100 gems costs ~0,04€.

You'd need to get 100 gem emotes or backgrounds for 0,03-0,04€ cents for it to be worth it.

This is the most important point you're overlooking OP.

You want to get LEVELS. They're your goal.

Using something like gems means you have MORE links in the chain to get to those levels. You are getting backgrounds - converting them to gems - using the gems to create booster packs - then using those booster packs to get cards you may or may not have - then trade for the ones you need to get a set - THEN craft the badge.

All of those are costs.

So, if you want to get levels more effiiceintly REDUCE the number of links in that chain. SImples.

Go STRAIGHT for buying the cards you want is FAR cheaper. Then you craft the badges directly and boom up go your levels.

And better still from the increased level, up goes your chances of getting booster packs anyway.

Want it cheaper, check the items to see how much gems can get ouf of them, and see how much it cost getting the items from the market, or trading with others to max output getting more cheaps at cheaper price than buying Gem sacks.
