PUBG not launching!!(cannot find msvcp140.dll)

so i just bought PUBG recently , however whe, i try to launch it this error comes up "cannot find msvcp140.dll"
any solutions?

go to pubg properties from ur library and then go to local files and click on verify integrity and wait for it to complete and see it downloads the missing files! Hope it helps! also if it doesnt show up try restarting ur Whole pc and then do the first step!

Take a poke around the posted threads if you are still having issues.

Or anyone that's uninstalled a program called Pulseway (spammed quite a bit in youtube videos). Uninstalling that program for some reason borks all of your msvcp installations, not just that one.

never, repeat, never download dlls from the internet, no matter how explanatory or legitimate the site claims to be.
re/install the package that should contain it and in case of Steam games you know what pre-requisities a game needs, you have that information(PUBG[steamdb.info]) and the files for it are available on your computer already

.\Steam\SteamApps\common\Steamworks Shared\
or usually in a folder named CommonRedist within the games folder.
