Asian horror games about haunted school, but not these?
Hello!
I would like to play korean,j poanese, indonesian, etc, horror games about haunted schools, but I have already played:

White day
Dreadout 1&2
Detention

Especially games where you can read about horror legends and collect them/ghosts.

Fatal Frame / Project Zero is basically the original Dreadout. It's a long-running japanese ghost horror series. Very recommended. Large on the story/legends part, not too sure about the haunted school part though...

I added Detention, forgot about it.
Coma seems interesting, though it had bad reviews. DSGTTGH I played, it's that game with the grid map where you have to guess where the ghost is. Very poorly explained, haven't understood anything in the game.
Fatal frame is cool, but the playstation to pc port is faulty at best, crashes a lot and I remember it was a problem with framerates and controls as well.

86% positive rating is not bad. You always find some negative reviews for any game on Steam.
If you only look at those you never find anything worthwhile.

Corpse Party

The only one I'm aware of is about 15 years old or more, and will not run on modern PCs. As it was never given western release it's also a ♥♥♥♥♥ to get running.

I can't even remember the name offhand. Sadly, I think you've named about all there is.

Fatal Frame is an excellent series, but it's nothing to do with schools, and the best iterations aren't on PC.

Yeah sorry. I type pretty quick (most of the reason why I make so many typos - brain still runs fine, but my hands don't so much these days).

Do you also have the problem of your train of thought getting disrupted if you slow down to express it?
That's a reason I can't express myself through handwriting, it's so slow, said train of thought breaks down.

No, not really.

My mind works really quick and I very rarely have to think about things. It just happens.

It's weird because obviously I didn't think this was odd or unusual for years until I went for certain jobs that required test and more involved interviews. I had this thing called a "Rapid Answer Questionnaire". That was what first put me onto it.

They test certain attributes though a quick timed test in each field. I don't know how accurate it is, but on liogical reasoning and logical .... something else I always socred about 97%. This put me in about 1 in 10,00-100,000 allegedly.

I took not much notice of it but as luck would have it as I changed jobs and worked up the ladder I had a few more and it was always the same. A couple of timesI had to take the test again to be sure.

I can only assume this is why my actions are how they are.

Add the fact that I worked in computer for years too, so my typing's quick. Then add disability and you have a situation where my brain and muscle memory is how it's always been, but thanks to issues my left hand especially doesn't keep up or does twrong thing. Tio all intents and purposes my brain THINKS it's doing things right, but it ain;t. It's quite odd to explain.

Yeah, it always strikes me as odd how someone can not see a logical discontinuity at a first glance... Anyway, I think I know what you mean with that description.

Yeah it's weird to try and describe and partly because I don't spend time thinking about stuff and just "stream of consiousness"it a fair bit, I know I don't describe some things particularly well.

I guess it's kind of a bit like a phantom limb in some respects. TO all intents and purpose I can move my hand a certain way, or at least that's what my brain tells it, and I can sommetimes see it reacting too slow or not going quite right.

It's patently obvious on my bad days when I'm playing keyboards or guitar. Quite funny then.

Also the "quick thinking" thing does have as many downsides as it's upsides. Simply put I can be too quick to assume stuff, and it always trips me up.

This is an interesting scientifical discussion, but may I suggest it to be continued on another thread? I am still looking for those horror games and if these are the only ones, the market is rather poor.
