Steam Subbed me for EA Play and I realised it 3 months after it

I only bought it once at 24th of January then I got charged 3 times for 30 turkish liras which is 5 times more than my one time payment when I first bought it for a month with discount I asked for refund because I never accepted a subscription agreement or sort AND I HAVE NEVER EVEN USED THE EA PLAY BENEFITS and now they say they cant refund my money because 14 days have passed on 2 of subscriptions and not even the one they subbed me for the last which is this month because of more than 48 hours of playtime but I have not even used a single EA PLAY game I havent even downloaded any game from ea play

EA Play is a recurring suubscrioption. Unlless you actively cancel ity before the start of the new billing period it will renew automatically.

That much was in the details.

Also, it took youu 3 months to notice?

Literally every subscription service from gaming to TV and even music has recurring automatic payments where you need to manually cancel. People get buttered up with a cheap or free first month offer that they don't realise this but I thought by now these services was obvious in their operations.

Yeah its a subscription, if you don't cancel subscriptions it continues. There was a special price for the first month and then its normal price going forward. The mistake is 100% on you as you did agree to it so your just gonna have to eat the cost on it.

The payments run over Steam. If the sub is canceled on Steam, there is nothing for EA to ignore.

Anyway, OP...
Just a heads up, in the future you will rather subscribe to a carpool than to buy a car. Your main argument is that you didn't use the service you subscribed to. It will also not matter that you didn't use any cars for 3 months, you pay for the service availability, not for a car.

Canceling on both always worked with a button.
And tells when it ends.

First time i heard it was notorious the opposite.

well for me they did it twice.

cancelled and got charged the next month, canceled again... 3 months later had to escalate to support because it never canceled.

I got the email saying it canceled too yet still was charged.

If steam handles it I'd trust that more.

I suppose I maybe could have said a better word than "notorious" but while I was dealing with it I saw a lot of support topics about the same thing.

Please do not claim things that have no evidence.
Especially since this is on Steam, and EA couldn't ignore the canceling if they wanted to. :P

evidence is my experience, they have charged me after canceling. Please don't tell me what to do.

no big deal, sometimes words get used wrong and things aren't clear. I didn't want to crap on steam or EA more just saying I've had EA charge me after canceling so I'd watch my bill in regards to any subscription after cancelling to make sure it actually went through.
