Report a translation problem
Setting yourself to "offline" or "invisible" in the client is the only way to not show what you are currently playing.
Or setting your entire profile/game details to "Private", even for friends.
That's a workaround, as I'd gladely not restrain to friends-only my ingame activity ~if there was a way to choose which activities I'd display.
Reposting to Suggestions / Ideas as it looks like specifying which game changes statuses isn't possible yet.

after installing, i can play the game through steam, but it doesnt show up. it never shows me as playing, it never shows my hours progressed, and the steam overlay is permanently disabled. this patch can be applied to any exe.
Applying this patch to other games may have a similar effect. try this at your own risk as it could possibly break certain files.
To be frank if this is a concern to you, this should be easy to remember.
