Question about new Game Profiles in the Point Shop

The previews suggest that, among a bundle of pointshop items, you also get a unique preset of theme colors for your profile as well, which are unique from the six themes currently available.

Is it therefore possible to purchase a Game Profile for 10 000 points but theoretically only retain the unique theme and nothing else by un-equipping the rest?

Fair enough. I guess the only choice you have left is through using an animated avatar. Would have been a welcome oversight though.

The theme colors themselves can not be changed but the separate items within the bundle can be changed to whatever you want.

Sorry for being really late, but like... you're saying you can get different themes based on animated avatars also? I have one, and I don't see a change the theme, so if this is true, which ones work?

The theme is not based on your chosen avatar. There are 6 basic themes, Default, Summer, Midnight, Steel, Cosmic, and Dark Mode, that are available to everyone in the Profile Editor under the Theme settings.

If you want something different, you'll need to get them from the Points Shop Store. Game Profiles and Artist Profiles provide different themes but along with those themes are unique animated avatar, avatar frame, mini-profile background, main profile background, etc.

The OP's question was after you obtain one of these special profiles, do you have the option of just keeping the profile's theme and swapping out the other things that come with the profile, which is yes, you can.

Correct! Amusingly this thread is a bit out of date by information at this point, but yes, my profile currently uses the "Theme" of a complete Game Profile, but everything else is readjusted from there, to my own liking. The only catch is that you need to select the "Game Profile" *first* and then customize the rest of the details from there. It is very clunky.

I wish it would just add the theme directly among the stock options, recognizing that you bought one of the bundles, but it does not, unfortunately.
