If you find something that breaks the rules report it from the artwork page, and they can take care of it
:teddy_talk: Depends.

As long as all the relevant parts are covered.

Say, for example Black Blade uploads a selfie of himself doing a swimsuit naughty at a beach, I wouldn't consider that sexual artwork.

Although I would go.. Argh! Go blind, turn into a pillar of salt and then be instantly wished-out into the cornfield.

Fixed that for you.
"They" seems too... too "the-reptilians-are-running" Steam-ish

before anyone says it,
i'm not against it, i just find it strange how profile pics are instantly removed if something like it were put up,
But on the art forms it just fine. why

There's a sexual-content filter setting that users can enable if they don't want to see such artworks.
There's no similar filter option for profile pictures.

My guess, anyway.

Did you just assume his gender? :cozyprodman:

Also do you often post your romantic fantasies about other steamcom members in a public forum post? :cozypoewitch:

This. Steam sells porn games and people can and will upload screenshots and artworks to this game. Since Steam ask you to confirm your age and asks if you want to see the +18 content: No problemo to upload such things!

But if people uploads nude artworks to a game which is available for everyone (Terraria for example), childs could see this and so it's forbidden. Same with profile pics.

Report the "offensive content" using the report button.

Steam Support: Reporting content within the Steam Community

I've often noticed people using sexually offensive artworks with just a 18+ warning there. Why does not valve take any action against such players.

Because there is no need to.

i think steam should set up a new option for the profile pictures,
so that if you were setting a new pic you could put a check in 18+.
Then if someone has selected no sexual content, they will just see the default avatar in stead.

They aren't instantly removed, someone reported it and then action was taken.
