Anyone know how to make a trailer for an indie game?
I want to publish on steam an indie game, but I'm unable to make a trailer. If you know how to make a trailer mail me, where we can discuss the price for the trailer.

After 5 threads, have you not read the documentation?

And I would refrain from soliciting on the forums.
Not every game needs a trailer...

Pretty sure you need at least one video for your store page.
Record game footage, cut it to have the best moments, add some snazzy music.

I'm pretty sure I've seen games without a video.

Regardless, trailers are a problem realm of their own, and might need people familiar with the subject to pull off properly. Or you might not care all that much, and just add some gameplay clips.

I wish triple A publishers still doing this.

It is more complicated than what I explained. First I don't have any video editing program, I have but I don't have(it is very complicated I can't explain). In theory I can make my own trailer, but practically I can't because there are some things not related to my video editing knowledge.

Eram's right though. There is nothing complicated about it.

It's dead easy to make a trailer as you've already been told here. Capture game footage, edit it together from the best bits, add s few bits of overlaid text and that's it.

If you can't grasp that and use any of the basic free software out there that can do this, then erma is right on the money - because making hurdles that really aren't there makes me fear for your business and development acumen.

I'm not trying to have a go at you. I'm merely saying if you think you can just bung any old crap up and get money, you should perhaps save yourself some of the time and effort and go and watch any youtube video about "asset flips" on steam and the response they generate.

Not saying you are employing asset flipping, but the point is that people who think they can release a game shouldn't be doing so is covered under those types of game.
download OBS, record Gameplay, download Davinci Resolve (free Video Editor), edit the Gameplay, profit

Or go real indie and use an unregistered version of Bandicam. :lunar2019grinningpig:

And these things are?
You made a game you think is worth selling to others. So what's stopping you from going the extra mile?

They are, kinda. It's just that with A publishers, the best parts of their games are the same as in Marvel movies: very short and devoid of actual content, just like the rest of those games games/movies usually are.
