If there saying you be banned from Steam that is BS if you going to be banned, you just be banned you will not get a warning about it
If that is the case its a scam, ignore it and do not let them pull you to login or anything
I recommend you do:
https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
"Deauthorize all other devices"
In case you did login and give your password somewhere, and also to chang your password
To be safe maybe also scan you PC for malware
Something that looks like Steam but is not Steam
go here first:
https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
and "Deauthorize all other devices"
Then change your password
You just sent them to a account that is not your friend
The "hijacker" is on your account, after you sent the trade they changed the trade to someone else that looks like your friend, and you just approve that
What you should do:
- Revoke the API key from here: http://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey So: all entries need to be removed.
- De-Authorize all other devices so no one can log on without using your password: https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
- Change your password: https://store.steampowered.com/account/
That's the best way to keep the nasties out. Do not trade anything untill... well, too late for that. But most of all: stop logging into websites which aren't Steam using your Steam account!
That is what you should do now
Beyond that, yes you send your friend a trade reqrest
But the hijacker is on your account right now, and when you sent the trade they simply cancel it and then send it to someone else, what you approved to send was not send to your friend but to the hijacker
♥♥♥♥ my life im idiot
after all my struggle im collecting money then all of my skins gone im cryin now
I how ever don't know that site so I don't know
Don't just trust any site, even if someone famous tells you its ok
About Steam guard they can because you give them the key to come in, likely on something like this:
https://i.imgur.com/1fioosa.png
That is a fake "Steam login" page on there page, it looks like the legit site, but its part of the page it self and not a real window, and anything you put there (User name, password, steam guard code) will be sent to the hijacker for there use to get into your account
For next time my recommended idea is login only and only ever from the Steam site that you your self open, never ever put your login info on a site you got from a link, as it may be fake
