Is worth buying wallpaper engine?
I saw my friends getting it, but I don't know if its worth buying

Well, there are a couple of free alternatives:

Windows 10 supports animated backgrounds out of the box. And Windows XP you could use a GIF when you activated "active desktop", so it really isn't anything new or special.

Well, it's a program which allows you to set wallpapers for your Windows setup. And it can do a bit of trickery with that too.

The store page says it all, if that's worth it or not depends on you.

As I said: the store page says it all. I'm referring to the option of setting playlists (so that wallpapers change over time), the ability to display animated wallpapers and of course the ability to enhance images somewhat.

IMO it's a fun program to tinker around with but because I prefer 2 specific (and static) wallpapers for my 2 monitors I have no real use for it.

Still... if you enjoy wallpapers and looking at new stuff then this can definitely be a lot of fun. The amount of available wallpapers is pretty amazing IMO.
