THIS IS DISCRIMINATION!
I'm being OPPRESSED because I want to keep a game in pristine condition so my grand children can go retro when they're old enough to play... (LOL!!)
Yes, I kidding, but this all the same, I own the game! I should not be forced to play it to for any amount of time to be able pick up Bling that has no value!
Why should I have to idle a game I paid for just to qualify for Bling and what do you mean by ppl that like to abuse the system? Example?
Buy Game, Buy Bling with purchase points, Refund Game, Recover Bling and/or unused equivalent points from refunded purchase...
Game is no longer in inventory, therefore Bling will not fire when used.
I also have a few games showing up that I've refunded which are prioritised over games I still own. Hopefully they'll iron this out in due course.
Better yet,
how do people get to Debut Lvl 20 so quickly,
answer,
Steam Market... They buy cards on the market, cash the in packs they create and up they go. (How's that fair if you're suppose to play the games and trade when there are no more card drops to get those cards?)
But, I have no problem with that BTW, it's their money they're spending and they own the games to apply bought cards to for leveling up. It's their decision to do it that way.
For me, all I want is an Icon for chat that I own the game for and I'm willing to spend my points achieved by buying software here on Steam to get it, but I'm blocked because of an insane 2 hour in-game restriction doing it the "legit" way.
Principle, it all a matter of principle and male cow patties..
that is how you get the 20k points to buy the level 20 badge.
that badge has nothing to do with the community market or crafting badges.
and it seems you have not understood how "packs" work.
I think Valve didn't expect us to want the emotes when we don't play the game and cannot relate! You can still get stickers though.
Hold onto it. The Points Shop is permanent and will grow in time.
Or you could reward screenshots, guides, reviews etc as appreciation, the creators will get 100 points for your every 300 points.
Now, reward me for the help! LOL
