Did my friend block me?

I "had" a friend on steam recently that I used to play with in a different non steam game. We added eachother on Steam and I bought them a game to play with me but she dissapeared ceasing all contact with me. She was still on my friends list and I could still view her profile but whenever I looked in messenger she was always offline, I basically never saw her "online" ever again. But every day I'd log in it would say in her status "Last online X amount of time ago" sometimes being hours, sometimes 7 minutes, but i'd never see her online myself.

I could see that she was active on Steam though (played 100 hours of Path of Exile one week).

Was I blocked? I just deleted her after not seeing her online for 4 months and figured she blocked me but I'm curious now because I have another friend who now appears to be doing the same except when I visit this one's profile it says "This profile is private" which I know they have set to "Friends only".

friends only is friends only. blocking communication with you will not change profile availability for you. you are either not logged in or you are viewing another profile that actually is private or not your friend.

I already know the profile is set to "Friends Only" so it will appear private to you. The thing is that I'm still on their friends list but now I'm noticing for the past few days I don't see them online but according to steam they are active (Last online, 1 hour ago).

not signed in to their friends list. and i could tell if it is private or friends only.

Hm this is a possibility I didn't think of. Oh well..spent $20 sending 7 Days to Die to the first friend and she never played it with me, hasn't even launched it, kinda wish I could get it refunded now but I know I can't.

and the 2 of the 4 friends you have do in fact have their profiles set to "friends only." just looked.

I can view all my friends profiles except for 1, so this one also blocked me?

No, I'm still able to communicate her. It's the other one I can no longer see, you say it's set to "Friends Only" so if I'm still on her freinds list but I can't view her profile then I've been blocked yes?

read my text above. blocking you has nothing to do with you not being able to see the profile. that has another reason.

Well it certainly seems Like I'm blocked as I never see them online in messenger anymore but they're clearly still active on Steam, and I used to be able to view the profile but now I can't.

If you still confuse about friend only/private profile then simply use steamrep.com

check his/her profile,
if profile privacy = 2(friend only)
profile privacy = private(meh)
