Looking for the best Sci-fi with character Customization recommendations

I am looking for a strictly Sci-fi game with character Customization.
(If Futuristic - I will take a look).
It can be an MMO / RPG. Solo or Multi.

I like shooters and TPS but it can also be a Hack and Slash type. (I also like Wushu)
Possibility to Choose and play as an Alien being or an Anime girl.

I Favor English but if it's in other languages then only Chinese or Korean.
I prefer Free but for paid I would also like to see your suggestions.

I don't like grind and P2W, but if it catches my attention, I would let these two requirements off.
It doesn't have to be on Steam.

Thanks for a suggestion but I was more thinking of a game like Justice Online 逆水寒.
It's a Wuxia but if you know something like this but Sci-fi - then I'm all in.

I hope that there is at least one that meets my requirements

Fallout 4 and there is some level grinding, especially if you're exploring distant locations or distant walkabouts, as enemies located further away from your starting position are higher-leveled.

For Fallout 4, you can customize your starting character, male or female and with different physical attributes, but more than that, there are character mods, which brings me to my next suggestion; have you looked into fan-created game character mods for games you're interested in.

Although I didn't find interest in these, I will just stay with what I've found.

It seems that with the above requirements, games I look for aren't being developed much.

It is free to play, and there will be some grinding as it's kind of par for the course, but I'm enjoying it. I've no idea if it is on Steam. I've been playing it on Xbox One.

Wizardry 8 has awesome character customization but isn't necessarily futuristic although it has some elements of this in it.
