friends activity settings and then you select what you dont wanna see.
or directly:

that is for all, if you wanna remove specific people, remove them from your friends.
So I don't want to see a specific person's activity I NEED to unfriend them? There is no way to block a person's activity without unfriending them, like on instagram or facebook?
I would still like them on my friends list so I can invite/play with them. I just don't want to see what they are doing.
How it works, either shows all, or show nothing.
I would put in a request. The more people that request it, the more likely that they will see it and implement it
Everything or Nothing.
Too harsh.
I want to selectively hate on my friends.
Steam is run like a monopoly. They've been actively making the user experience worse with each new update for a few years now. Their focus is clearly not about the end user but about profits.
In this disscusion there was never option to filter out people whom you want to see only via the activity feed, as it either unfriend the person no longer want to see content they do, or upload, or you filter out all things related what you want to filter that hit everyone in your friend & group list.

Maybe someday Valve will redo the Steam activity page, as they haven't done anything to it in years.
