How do I hide a friends steam activity from my feed?
I have a large amount of friends on my steam profile that I play with. Some of these friend I only play a certain game with so I am not interested in what new games they are playing or what they add to their wish list. Some of my friends on steam I know personal and would like to know when they add a game to their wish list of if they play a new game.

How do I block people on my friend list from showing up on my activity. I don't care if they see that I am doing, but I do not want to see their activity in my feed.

To stop seeing a specific person's activity then you have to unfriend that person, that's all there is to it.

How it works, either shows all, or show nothing.

upper right.
friends activity settings and then you select what you dont wanna see.

or directly:
https://steamcommunity.com/my/blotteredit

that is for all, if you wanna remove specific people, remove them from your friends.

So I don't want to see a specific person's activity I NEED to unfriend them? There is no way to block a person's activity without unfriending them, like on instagram or facebook?

I would still like them on my friends list so I can invite/play with them. I just don't want to see what they are doing.

I would absolutely love if they'd add this feature. Maybe individual settings for each friend of what I want and do not want to see from them. Had anyone put if in feature request? They do some wilds things with app right now and this one is actually needed.

I would put in a request. The more people that request it, the more likely that they will see it and implement it

So many years of Steam and this is still not a feature?
Everything or Nothing.
Too harsh.
I want to selectively hate on my friends.

Well maybe one day it will happen if they ever get around to working on that page again.

Steam is run like a monopoly. They've been actively making the user experience worse with each new update for a few years now. Their focus is clearly not about the end user but about profits.

Same thing can be said for any company really for number of ways how they make something worse for the consumers, and say it all about profits, and really it not wrong, but also not exactly right depending case by case what refer to.

In this disscusion there was never option to filter out people whom you want to see only via the activity feed, as it either unfriend the person no longer want to see content they do, or upload, or you filter out all things related what you want to filter that hit everyone in your friend & group list.

If it screenshot issue, then uncheck screenshots, note this also affect everyone else in your friendlist for the Steam activity page.

Maybe someday Valve will redo the Steam activity page, as they haven't done anything to it in years.
I'm playing a certain game right now, and whenever I go into my library to look at my screenshots, I will see achievements a friend has done for the same game. He started before me, so it's spoilers for me. Tried to remove the settings < library < turn off community, but it didn't do anything. I swear before the newest UI update, I was able to hide friend's achievements unlocked in my library, but not anymore.
