How to get unbanned from Forum ?

Hello,

I am banned on the pubg steam forums for posting if anyone wants to buy a alpha/beta key back when the game was in beta. When i originally posted it i foolishly didn't read the rules and got banned instantly. Is there anyway someone from steam can unban me so i can upload my screenshots?

But are you Perma Banned? I never seen anyone ever get Perma Banned on Forums..... yet.

yea apparently i am lol . but i was able to upload screeshots even with the ban but now i cant , dont know if they changed something ?

Valve changed the community rules. Users banned from a gamehub can no longer upload community content to the game/gamehub that they're banned from. Also, trying to sell free beta keys is pretty scummy.

yeah i don't see that kind of thing warranting being unbanned - that's kind of the *ultimate* in terms of service abuse.

Steam does not interfere with game forums.

They were banned from PUBG's forum because of their admitted actions. I'm honestly surprised they're not banned from the game entirely.

Steam support cannot and will not do anything about that. Particularly not when someone broke the terms of use that badly.

i submitted a support ticket to pubg on their site but it looks like im going to have to wait a while to get a reply.

Why? That's not how you appeal forum bans on Steam.

PUBG Corp. does not moderate their Steam forum.

Do as I stated in my first reply.

i did use steam first and this was the reply:

"Hello,

I do understand where you're coming from however please note that your ban was given by the developers themselves. We do allow them certain discretion when it comes to moderating their hubs and we only intervene if there were gross abuse of power. I do not believe moderator privileges were unnecessarily misused in this case.

You will have to contact them directly in order to dispute the ban. I will include below the link how to do it :

so steam says to contact pubg and pubg says to contact steam... gg

it is the devs task unless they "actively said" that they want Steam community moderators to interfere/help.
i checked the mods(about 15-20) on this hub and it seems the english speaking people stopped posting anything as of april/may 2018.

it makes at least the impression that they leave it to Steam community mods now.

while checking the mods i saw a very familiar name ... i tagged this person as the angel of game shutdowns. maybe in a year this ban is no longer so relevant.

the negative aspect of this ban is, if you collect a few hub permabans, you can and will get automatically community banned.
