Apparently you can get scammed away as just doing a legit trade in this community.

Hello there! I've reported this user https://steamcommunity.com/id/- / for scamming. The passed 20th of October, He traded me 100.000 energy from the game Spiral Knights for 50 TF2 Keys of my inventory. Suspiciously, the user jameserus removed me from steam the day after we traded. Then today, Spiral Knights Support removed from my inventory the 100.000 energy that jameserus traded for the keys, saying that it's fraudulent procedence without major explanations. I'm trying to contact Spiral Knights Support as i am fine with the removal of the Fraudulent energy that has been traded. But, as in exchange i think i should be refunded my TF2 keys, besides i did a legit 1:1 trade with this community. I'm so dissapointed that this happened. My concern now is what will happen with those 50 TF2 Mann. Co Keys that i traded for the fraudulent energy, I really hope there's an easy solution for this trouble, And that you all can keep track from the trade, it is in my trade historial.

Carefully greetings of Miguel Jesus Adamuz Vico; owner of this account.

-Steam Support:

It sounds like this is an issue directly with Spiral Knights and their development team. Steam Support does not restore, delete, or modify items used in conjunction with non-Valve games.

I recommend reaching out to the Spiral Knights support team regarding the status of your items.

You can reach Spiral Knights support by using the information from the Official Support section here.

Greetings again.

Having explained all this case to the Spiral Knights Support Team, they just sent me back to steam support for get my keys back. As i'll be posting below:

Recent warn that i received about items traded that has been fraudulently obtained in a steam trade.
Status: Closed

Hey there! I've read the warn, and admitted, but thing is my trade had been via Steam trade, so , if you as i understand removed the energy that the person i traded with had used fraudulently, How do i get the items that i traded with him via steam back? Because i traded in steam some Team Fortess 2 Keys for that energy. Then, if something is fraudulent, i should recieve what i had back on steam.
But in first place, the response of giving fraudulent energy to someone before berifying the payment is not mine, It's from the financial Grey havens department. I feel pretty dissapointed because i did nothing wrong in this trade. I want a solution for this trouble.

Besides i did legit trade 50 TF2 keys for 100.000 energy via Steam. So i want my 50 TF2 Keys back.

Greetings,

Please contact Steam support to get the keys back. You may contact their support service by following this link: https://support.steampowered.com/

And Again the user https://steamcommunity.com/id/jameserus has purchased fraudulently the Spiral Knights energy with a credit card cash back. So basically he ordered the energy and later on two days he asked for a cash back on his bank.

I can understand that it is not from valve games, but as part of this community; i ask yourselves, as steam support team. How does this even happen now days? Can anyone just make a purchase, claim a cash back from their credit card and get some free stuff of someone innocent? I was just doing right, following the rules, the ToS of you all your service as community, but what i get in exchange is a scam. Around 100 Euro scam of TF2 keys. Pretty dissapointing, Disgusting and he's still there without having received any VAC or ban from market, even though there is a proof, you guys got the track of the trade.

Nonetheless, it's a very big shame to what this community has became allowing these such things to happen to any player.

This ain't fair, this ain't honorable for either Spiral Knights Support Team or Steam Support Team. Not helpful.

Sincerely Miguel Jesus.

The user you traded most likely did a chargeback of some kind.

Valve's policy is that scammed items are not returned.

As they stated in the message, please report the user by his/her profile.
