Your account does not have permission to send messages to non-friends.

Just 5 minutes ago I could send messages to non-friends through in-game player profiles, now it gives me this error message. Any help?

might reconsider the display username..
aside of that, i've seen a thread like an hour ago, but no solutions
perhaps its a temporary problem that volvo will fix, don't worry

Did you find any fix? i met alot of nice people in csgo but i cant tell them to add me later :(

makes no sense, you can just add them yourself, you dont need to send them a message to add you ...

the bughuge ef up was that you were able to message non-friends when they introduced the new chat. that should have never been possible. the result was massive amounts of bot spam. so they "fixed" it.

ya same thing with me. paladins ad a frien "cant send mesage to nonfriend" wtf!?! he acsepted my request so we are friends!

paladins has an own friends system afaik, friends in paladins is not friends on Steam.

I'm only ever able to send messages to non-friends when I'm in a CSGO match and they're on my team. I think this is an intended feature, despite the clearly poor wording.
