Most SV stories are tragic at the expense of the people pretending to be in the military. At worst they can actually be predators committing criminal offenses.
I would caution you to not be like these kids whipping out their phones trying to get internet points for catching a stolen valor case, like the idiot boots who publicly berated a 70-something year old senile veteran because his uniform was messed up.
