Again how is this a security issue. This is like complaining your deadbolt doesn't work when you leave the back patio door open
If I have physical access to your computer you are totally screwed. This is not a steam issue
It's still an issue that should be fixed.
And you are saying that you will receive messages on this account if you are connected to the internet.
Yeah, that's pretty much how it is supposed to work.
You sound like TF2 team except in reverse and you're calling a bug a feature instead of a feature a bug.
If you are online, you can receive messages. Woopdidoopdidoo. Just because your friend status is "offline" doesn't change the fact that your account is online.
Else make yourself clear.
Also what's the point in calling it offline mode if you're online and connected to the internet?
I tested that with someone, its odd, as it seems they where able to message me, but i was not able to message them (as in first, after the first message you can keep talking)
Not sure how that works yet
