is it a purchase of CD or download?i want to purchase a game,but i afraid if i delete something,then i need to reinstall again.

i buy that 2 games before i come to steam.......and i want to buy game here....i want to buy rome:total war here becoz i can't find it in shops in my country,and i want to buy it in CD for collection....

oh! I forget to ask.....,is the game being pack into a EXE.file,as long i got the EXE.file,then i can
reinstall the game as many time as i want(like i got the CD)....?

You can download the game as many times as you want.

Steamworks hardcopies are also downloads, cause the version of the game on the DVD is usually outdated and Steam will need update often even half of the files.

Hint: stop buying hardcopies. They are just dustcatchers and majority of the games needs to be activated on Steam anyways.
