Ad ridden websites
Anyone else get infuriated when there's a giant add that pops up inbetween the text in an article you're reading? I was reading a Forbes article on Law Schools because it was first to pop up, and the thing had an insanely large ad advertising some annoying television show.

Anyone else want to give their opinion, or your experiences of this horror known as "Ad'ing too much" (I should copyright that.)

I have not had to deal with internet ads for over 10 years now...

It's called an "Ad Blocker"... It blocks ads.

But what if I feel bad for the websites when I use it!

I have it disabled for the websites i want to support. Not running some script blocker however, in general, is one of the quickest ways to get some nasty malware. For that alone i'd get some form of Adblock.

Do you think YouTube still gives channels money, if you have it?
And would likes still be counted with it? (I like to help smaller good channels. :3 )

I've seen countless ads on the net and when I used to watch tv... not ONCE have they ever convinced me to buy something at any given point of my life. They're an annoying pain that's for sure. I just use an ad blocker and be done with those abominations for good. <>_<>

I have an exception for Youtube, meaning i am seeing Ads, so yes, they'll get money from my views, and from what i can tell, my likes are counted.

Their purpose isn't to make you buy something. Their purpose is to make you aware it exists and what purpose it exists for.

They get more elaborate and 'funny' and whatever, in an endeavor for you to remember their product before you remember the competitions, if you actually should be going out and wanting to be it.
