Is being a costumed Vigilante feasable?
Its a trope but have you ever put any thought into what it would take to really become a vigilante?

In the times we are entering into i feel like state curated justice is going to be farther and farther out of reach of the common person.

Out groups especially will find them selves on the short end of equity and outcomes.

What would it take to have a reasonable lifetime as a vigilante extracting extra judicial justice?

My notion is at least a year before getting caught or killed. Enough time to inspire others to replicate or exceed you?

Do you remember that meme picture of the dude in a bacon tuxedo a few years ago? That dude looks like he could kick some ass.

That's a fantasy.

People are stupid, egotistical, greedy, irrational, emotion-fueled dreamers. We have no true concept of justice.

no. the thought of this itself isn't justice. batman isn't a story about justice, its a story about revenge.

you can't apply justice equally if you're personally emotionally invested in the matter.

if you have a lot of complaints about the justice practices in your area, you should work to change them, or find a country that suits your point of view better.

Batman's superpower: A truckload of money.

I don't know about costumes but if you live in a troubled neighbourhood, you and your neighbours could chip in $100 each, that's like $40-50k, then use the money to hire a team of vigilantes to clean up the neighbourhood. So I think there is money to be made if you market yourselves properly.
All wear the same costume and don't patrol at the same time, so it'll seem like it's just 1 guy doing everything.

No especially not for the average person
Wouldn't be any harder than evading capture as any other serial killer.

What it would take is a lot of "know how" on: how to use guns, obtaining ones that can't be traced, how to avoid being spotted by the all seeing eye of CCTV and very detailed planning of each action, especially exit plans.

Phoenix Jones did pretty well until he was busted for selling drugs.

Being a vigilante is illegal for a reason. We have a process to make sure innocent people aren't punished. Vigilantes do not have a process.

If you don't like what someone is doing legally, do something about it legally. If you feel like you can't, do better.

In the US, at least, there's plenty of opportunity for people to do things legally. It's purposefully slow to prevent rash decisions, but it's still possible.

There is no such thing as justice, and people pretending otherwise are unfortunately beyond delusional. Be it state-sanctioned through farcical courts and laws, or vigilante justice.

Vigilantes should just be honest and say that they like the violence and just want attention.

As for feasibility, it entirely depends where you do it. Good chance you will get killed in a place that has serious criminality.
