You should be able to run games from a few years ago at playable framerates, especially if you can lower the ingame settings a little, and there's some classic older games that should run wonderfully (Half Life, for example!).
It might be tricky to predict what you like, go searching for what you have played / own, do research on your gaming preferences....I dunno, not something one does for strangers - no offence like, but surely it's gonna be easier to look in the store, using the search filters? no? :/
Every game page in the store has minimum / recommended system requirements. See something you like and check the specs, easy peasy :P
Or what you like? that helps
In terms of suggestions: If you can run Gmod and TF2 at playable framerates, you should be pretty much good to go with the Half Life 2 series. Less demanding games i've played recently and loved have included Fez, Cave Story+, Antichamber, Limbo. I'd be suprised if a lot of the RPG Maker style games won't run for you too, since they have a somewhat old school look to them.
If it is 3D and released after 2005, you can almost certainly right that game off...
If you do not wish to spend 5 hours searching for a game, then you shouldn't expect others to spend 5 hours doing it for you.
There is a search box at the upper right of the store page.
Have fun!
