Cases are for holding your components together and mainly keeping your hands off while allowing airflow and heat dissipation. You'd want at least SOME airflow and perhaps some fans to make sure dust doesn't stick or collect in the corners.
Just get a good case with proper dust filters/covers on the intake fans.

Yeah, the last case I bought has magnetic filters in the front and bottom. Super easy to pull out and clean.

Tinfoil inside and around your pc

op, you dont need a really expensive case. all you need:

-room that the pc rests in is cleaned every 8-12 days
-pc up on a desk, not on the floor
-slightly positive case pressure (accomplish this with one or two more 'input' fans than output fans.)
-intake dust filters (remove and clean when the room is cleaned)

and you still have to open it up, once a month of runtime and dust it out properly. its part of maintenance.

but, these steps will drastically reduce the amount of dust the case gathers.
You can easy buy mesh or foam dust covers to put over where the intake fans are. No new case needed.

Make sure you build a case with "positive pressure" and have dust filters over the intake fans. Positive pressure will prevent dust from ingressing through any other cracks or openings besides the filtered intake fans.

Yeah this is the best advice right here.
Be sure you have positive pressure (more air coming in than going out)
$500 for a case?!!?!?

Good grief that'd be a waste of money.

Most decent computer cases/towers are going to be way under $150, including ones with dust filters for the intake fans.

And as long as you have a few more intake fans than exhaust fans, it'll create positive pressure in the case and keep most fine dust out.

I'm using an old customized all-metal Corsair C70 Vengeance mid-tower case that cost me $60 and looks like a military computer. It came with 3 mesh filters for the intake fans, and I only really need to clean out the super fine dust once a year or two with some canned air.

You can also buy magnetic or velcro intake filters separately depending on if you have a metal or plastic/glass case.

However, I would recommend staying far away from the new "trend" of glass cases, as I have seen way too many of them break and shatter, sometimes without even touching them just from thermal changes.

Lian Li PC-011 air mini They're a little over $100. Save the other $400 for something more useful.

Also, this should be in hardware forum

Yeah, definitely no need to spend $500. I only spent $50 for my case.
is there some advert about computer and dust going round...

why have you made dust a priority... when you can let dust build up for years
on most computers...

unless you live in a really dusty dusty place...

moisture would be more my concern...
as dust and water turn to mud which can
conduct electricity and cause problems..

I have dust problems if i breathe it in i start to suffocate
then the airflows will be horrible and will self explode. just buy those dust filter sheets and then customize them in all fan places
