IDR exactly but I think dating is fine but if they do anything sexual the parents can technically press charges, depending on the state. Don't quote me on that one though.

It's a weird question. One of them turning 18 doesn't actually change how far apart they are in age, besides the number for how many years old.

Biggest age gap I had for a GF was 13 years my senior (me 26, them 39)
Biggest age gap I had no strings fun with was 21 years my senior (me 19, them 40)

Tbh older partners can teach you a lot (especially if you are young), and help you to become a great lover. Whilst my mates were happy to settle for the missionary, I was getting thrown around the bedroom and taught The Kamasutra........ Good times!

Depending on your jurisdiction there may be some legal issues regarding that, especially if the behavior of the older party is unchaste. At the bare minimum though, expect some degree of ostracization by the community writ large and for some people to be keeping a close eye on you.

Its not just a number, 39 year old GF is basically barren, no future. A woman that old doing that is a loser, you are being taught by a loser.

The reverse at least there is a chance for a family.
