Nope, debit
Nope.

I stuff all my money in an anatomically correct life-size Clydesdale stallion mounted to the roof of my house. :Horse:

Cash is king, baby!
Yes... I would exlusively use cash if most of my purchases didn't involve things I could only purchase online.

I'm on team credit card as it's easy to use and I don't need to carry a wallet (just being my phone with credit card integrated).

...and I just like how the pay tap goes "ping!" :hp_nikki:
Credit cards have given me so much cash back it's amazing! Only those that lack self-control hate credit cards.

I do. But I can only spend 500 dollar and it’s the only card I take with me outside because if I get robbed the only with worth of value is my phone.

I use debit card because I want to use my own money. I could take credit but I am not gonna feed my bank.
You still feed the bank. They take a percentage of every transaction. The store loses 2-5% of every sale to the bank. And then there is the swipe fee to Visa/MasterCard for every transaction. And the monthly payment to be allowed to take plastic and the monthly rental fee for the equipment.

Heyo.
Yes 1 Visa and 1 store that I shop a lot at that earns me 5% cash back. Debit cards don't offer the same fraud protection and so I almost never use my debit card. I pay off the credit cards immediately and rarely hold a balance, but even if I have the cash or the money in my bank account I don't use it because of the the security concerns and I might as well get reward points

I think we only use debit in the Netherlands
There’s nothing wrong with credit cards unless you are irresponsible with your money. You can have a credit card without ever paying a penny in interest if you pay it off every month.

In fact, I’d argue credit cards are vastly superior if you are responsible with your money. Credit card companies will have no problem reimbursing you for unauthorized charges. A simple 5-minute phone call and you’ll have your money back with a credit card. But that’s much more difficult with a debit card, you may not even get the money back depending on the circumstances. Most credit cards have generous cashback or rewards programs, which give you hundreds if not thousands of dollars per year in benefits for the average person. Many cards have additional perks like early access to concert ticket sales, free lounge access in airports, elite loyalty status with travel partners, free insurance, free roadside assistance, etc. American Express actually offers you things that you wouldn’t be able to get any other way like movie premiers, celeb meet and greets, galas, and VIP/backstage access. You’re definitely missing out by only using a debit card.

Oops...

Was only a matter of time before a "Credit-Bro" would show up.

They are slightly less annoying than "Crypto-Bros" :marten_sip:
