Slow computer after a lightning storm, Help?
My computer is running slow after a lightning storm games are so slow i had to play it on low(usually on high). My computer restarted after a lighting flash.
(Seems like internet is faster now lol)

power surges during lightning storms are known to fry entire computers.
might want to have your machine checked out to see if anything needs replacing.

Next time, unplug the computer during the storm.
I always hated when growing up everytime a thunderstorm came, my mother told us to turn off all computers. One year I didn't listen and lightning hit my house and messed my computer up, I turn off my stuff durning them now, even if they are connected to a surge protector.

Don't forget the outer lines from the outside. Overall there's Phone (Internet), Cable/Antenna, Electricity

Someone using surge protectors for electricity (And no idea how reliable those really are.) could still get their PC fried via phone line and even via antenna if they have the PC connected to SmartTV and if that's connected to antenna/cable.

We are lucky here because all the cables are underground.
