Apparently cats greet others with nose touching. I've always just naturally done that with cats and I call it a kiss. So I say to my cat "can I have a kiss" and we will touch noses.

I also do this thing where if she's sitting on a chair I'll walk past to tease/check her mood. I'll say "am I going to get a kiss or a bite?" as I walk past with my forearm close to her. If she's happy she'll nose touch it and if she's grumpy she'll bite it.

Around half of the human population already are carriers of the Toxoplasmosis parasite. Eating contaminated foods is a much more prevalent form of getting it than touching cats.

I do not see any problem with it.

Especially if the cats are indoor. Which they should, unless you want them lost, or worse, dead.

Also, if they roam around, who knows what they are touching. That for me is disgusting.

This is just too adorable, it made my day. Right now i want to find a cat and cuddle it. Just don't tell my dog otherwise he will get jealous

Raised a couple kittens and have cats. That's a nope for me.

My one cat goes up in the basement walls. There's dirt from before WWII in those walls.

Other cat rolls around on the basement floor and drinks from puddles.

Last cat sleeps under people's cars and on the street.
